Visitem el Museu de la Tecnologia a Terrassa

The students of 4th of ESO had a fun-filled day in the Terrasa’s science museum where they learnt all about magnetic fields and their relationship with a variety of materials. By restricting the movement of two magnets they witnessed how one floats above the other. However, the most impressive of the experiments was achieved by cooling a superconductor to minus 96’C and then placing it over a magnet. The effect …real levitation.
If that wasn’t enough to fill their minds the day culminated with the students learning about how the multi-international company Grifols operates and its processes to separate plasma from the blood.
All in all, lots to think about.
